There are a couple of things that you can do if you are suspicious as to whether or not your landlord is entering your apartment without notifying you. First of all you could verbalize the concern with your landlord and simply ask he/she. But this depends on your landlord and your comfort. Another alternative is to set up "equipment" within your apartment to have physical proof. There are lots of in expensive recording equipment that are very easy to setup. A baby could do it. Another alternative is to change your locks but in many cases you have to provide a copy key to your landlord so of course that could defeat the purpose.
